Primary School Reinickendorfer Straße

On February 2, 2024, the jury met for the two-phase, Berlin-wide open and anonymous art in architecture competition for the construction of a new elementary school at Reinickendorfer Straße 60 in 13347 Berlin. Chaired by artist Renate Wolff and after extensive discussion, the jury unanimously recommended the realization of the design „The Mapquilt Tree“ by artist Stephanie Imbeau.

„The Mapquilt Tree“ complements the district’s public art with a sculptural object of high artistic quality and value.
