What’s in the bushes? Urban nature walk and linoleum print workshop

KISR Leipziger Straße: Diadéo trésor

07. Dec 2024

12:00-14:00

Kieztreff Leipziger Straße
Leipziger Straße 56-58
10117 Berlin

Mascha Katrych & Zhenia Moliar (DE NE DE) invite you to discover the urban nature along Leipziger Straße! Why do places look the way they do? What are the ideas behind the buildings and plants?

The two of them will talk about why and how green spaces play such an important role in urban planning – and why plants in cities are more than just beautiful to look at!

We will take a look at the plants outside and then everyone is invited to get creative themselves. We will get to know and use (linocut) printing techniques and make our own stamps. Think about what your ideal green city could look like. Which plants would you plant? Where would you create a park or garden? How could public space be used better so that everyone feels comfortable? Your project is your chance to create a green and vibrant city!

For children (and their parents) aged 6 and over
